Pricing

We don't publish prices. We explain exactly how we bill.

No surveying mandate is the same: area, required accuracy, site access and deliverables all move the cost. Here are the three billing methods we use and what influences the price, so you know what to expect before we even talk.

Billing methods

Three ways to bill, chosen with you

Fixed fee

Most mandates. Scope defined up front: area, accuracy, deliverables and schedule. The price is fixed, with no surprise at invoicing.

Typically: Location certificate, topographic survey of a lot, 3D scan of a building.

Hourly rate

For mandates whose duration depends on site progress. Crew and equipment billed hourly, with a weekly progress update.

Typically: Construction surveying, site supervision, recurring field support.

Master agreement

For recurring clients: negotiated annual rates, priority dispatch and a simplified call procedure through your dedicated contact.

Typically: Engineering firms, general contractors, municipalities.

Price factors

What moves the cost of your mandate

None of these factors are hidden: they all appear in the written quote.

  • Site area and complexity (elevation change, vegetation, traffic, restricted access).
  • Required accuracy and the level of geodetic control to establish.
  • Technology required: total station, GNSS, SLAM scanning, drone LiDAR, echo sounder.
  • Expected deliverables: CAD plan, point cloud, model, signed and sealed report.
  • Distance from Québec City and mobilization time.
  • Urgency: short-notice work mobilizes a crew that was already scheduled.

What your quote includes

  1. 01The exact scope of the mandate and the survey method chosen.
  2. 02The target accuracy and the reference system used.
  3. 03The list of deliverables and their formats.
  4. 04The mobilization schedule and the delivery date.
  5. 05The price, billing method and revision terms.

What clients ask before signing

Can the price increase during the mandate?

On a fixed-fee mandate, no: the scope is set in advance. If an unforeseen condition appears on site (blocked access, a different actual area, added deliverables), we submit a written change order before doing anything. Nothing appears on the invoice without prior approval.

Does 3D scanning cost more than a conventional survey?

The daily equipment cost is higher, but field time drops significantly and you get a complete dataset instead of a selective one. On complex or active sites, scanning generally ends up cheaper overall, especially by avoiding a second site visit.

Do you bill for travel?

Our teams travel across Québec. Mobilization is included in the fixed price for our priority sectors. For more remote mandates, travel and accommodation costs are listed separately in the quote, never added afterward.

Is there a minimum fee?

Sending out a crew mobilizes staff, a vehicle and equipment, so a minimum fee applies to very small mandates. We tell you upfront, before you invest any time.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

We reply within 24 business hours. For simple, well-documented mandates, the quote can be sent the same day.

Recurring clients

A master agreement beats a one-off quote

If you send us multiple mandates a year, an annual agreement simplifies everything.

Negotiated rates

A rate schedule set for the year, without needing a new quote for every request.

Priority dispatch

Your urgent requests are handled first in crew scheduling.
