A company passed on, not sold off

Géniarp was founded in 1998 by Jean-Luc Bédard. Since 2023, the new owners have carried the company forward in the continuity of the family values he established. Those values show up daily: in how the team is treated, in how clients are answered, and in a refusal to deliver approximate work.

Our journey

From construction surveying to a multi-service firm

Géniarp began with construction surveying, which remains at the core of the company. Over the years, the team added site supervision, topographic surveying, our current growth priority, and more recently legal surveying, our newest department.

1998

Géniarp founded by Jean-Luc Bédard, centred on construction surveying.

2023

Jérôme Tremblay and Simon Gingras acquire Géniarp together from founder Jean-Luc Bédard. The new owners commit to preserving the values instilled by the founder, and accelerate technology investments.

Today

More than 35 employees, four departments and one of the most comprehensive technology fleets in the province.
